The Daily Journal will sponsor a classic film series at the Paramount Theatre. The final film in the series is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on Thursday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation: It's Christmas time and the Griswolds are preparing for a family seasonal celebration, but things never run smoothly for Clark, his wife Ellen and their two kids. Clark's continual bad luck is worsened by his obnoxious family guests, but he manages to keep going knowing that his Christmas bonus is due soon.
The screenings are free to subscribers of The Daily Journal with a limit of up to four passes per subscribing household. Passes will be available at The Daily Journal offices in Manteno, Bourbonnais, Kankakee and Watseka two weeks prior to each showing. Non-subscribers will be admitted at the door for $5 per person. Seating is limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Passes for subscribers do not guarantee seating, and pass-holders are encouraged to arrive early.
