Head Games tells the story of football player and wrestler Chris Nowinski's quest to uncover the truth about the consequences of sports related head injuries. It includes relevant science on brain trauma, advice on how to better deal with concussions at all levels of sports, and some of the tragic stories from sports such as football, hockey and soccer that have now been determined to be due to concussions.
There will be a Q&A with executive director Steve Devick and Mary & Laura Rounce (student athlete in film & parent). Parts of the film were also filmed in Downers Grove. From the same Director of Hoop Dreams and The Interrupters.
