First Tuesday Film Club:
Over the past several months we have spoken to and met with a number of movie goers encouraging us to offer an art/specialty movie once every month.  With that in mind, the Lake Theatre is embarking on a trial program to present an art, foreign, documentary, specialty, or classic movie on the first Tuesday of every month. 
 
We have formed an advisory committee to assist with the selection of films, to help secure special guest lecturers and film discussion leaders, and suggest ways to spread the word throughout Oak Park, River Forest and the surrounding area.  Our current committee currently includes:

            Bobbie Raymond
            Susie Helfrich
            Mary Kay O'Grady
            Shirley Johnson  (Classic Cinemas)

"Searching for Sugar Man” - Two South Africans set out to discover what happened to their unlikely musical hero, the mysterious 1970s rock 'n' roller, Rodriguez. “Searching for Sugar Man", will be presented on Tuesday, February 5 at 12:00 and 7:00 p.m.  Admission is $6 matinee/senior and $8.50 evening.
