First Tuesday Film Club:
Over the past several months we have spoken to and met with a number of movie goers encouraging us to offer an art/specialty movie once every month.  With that in mind, the Lake Theatre is embarking on a trial program to present an art, foreign, documentary, specialty, or classic movie on the first Tuesday of every month. 
 
We have formed an advisory committee to assist with the selection of films, to help secure special guest lecturers and film discussion leaders, and suggest ways to spread the word throughout Oak Park, River Forest and the surrounding area.  Our current committee currently includes:

            Bobbie Raymond
            Susie Helfrich
            Mary Kay O'Grady
            Shirley Johnson  (Classic Cinemas)

"Lore” - As the Allies sweep across Germany, Lore leads her siblings on a journey that exposes them to the truth of their parents' beliefs. An encounter with a mysterious refugee forces Lore to rely on a person she has always been taught to hate. “Lore", will be presented on Tuesday, April 2 at 12:00 and 7:00 p.m.  Admission is $6 matinee/senior and $8.50 evening.
