The Woodstock Theatre presents the 11th Annual Woodstock International Film Festival, featuring five Academy Award Nominated Best Foreign Films.  The series continues with <b>No</b> on Saturday, September 21 at 4:15 & 7:15 p.m. 

No is a Chilean drama directed by Pablo Larrain, based on the unpublished play El Plebiscito.  Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal plays Rene’ an in-demand advertising man working in Chile in the late 1980’s.  The historical moment the film captures is when advertising tactics came to be widely used in political campaigns.  The campaign in question was the historic 1988 plebiscite of the Chilean citizenry over whether General Augusto Pinochet should have another 8-year term as President.

Join us for a film discussion with at La Petite Creperie on the Square after the 7:15 p.m. show of No. Dean Rowe - Front Row Productions, TV-Video-Documentary, former producer/director at NBC-TV and has won Multiple Emmys. He hosts radio programs “The Dean Rowe Show” huntleyradio.com airs 12 Noon and 6:00 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on-line.

This series runs through Sunday, September 22 and will also feature A Royal Affair.  Tickets for all five films may be purchased in advance for $30. Single tickets for each feature are $7.50.
