The Daily Journal will sponsor a classic film series at the Paramount Theatre. The second film in the series is Planes, Trains & Automobiles on Thursday, November 7 at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door.
Planes, Trains & Automobiles: All that Neal Page wants to do is to get home for Thanksgiving. His flight has been cancelled due to bad weather, so he decides on other means of transport. As well as bad luck, Neal is blessed with the presence of Del Griffith, Shower Curtain Ring Salesman and all-around blabbermouth, who is never short of advice, conversation, bad jokes, or company.
The screenings are free to subscribers of The Daily Journal with a limit of up to four passes per subscribing household. Passes will be available at The Daily Journal offices in Manteno, Bourbonnais, Kankakee and Watseka two weeks prior to each showing. Non-subscribers will be admitted at the door for $5 per person. Seating is limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Passes for subscribers do not guarantee seating, and pass-holders are encouraged to arrive early.
