The Critics Classics presents The Spy Who Loved Me at the Elk Grove Theatre on Tuesday, October 14 at 1:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per movie. The Critics Classics will be in conjunction with the Chicago Film Critics Association. Jeffery Westhoff will introduce the 7:00 p.m.
The Critics Classics at the Elk Grove Theatre will be in conjunction with the Chicago Film Critics Association. Each film will be selected by the member of the CFCA from a list they provide and will host with an introduction and a short Q&A after the 7:00 p.m. show. The films will run the 2nd Tuesday of the Month at 1:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m.
The Spy Who Loved Me:
James Bond is back again and his new mission is to find out how a Royal Navy Polaris submarine holding sixteen nuclear warheads simply disappears whilst on patrol. Bond joins Major Anya Amasova and takes on a a web-handed mastermind, known as Karl Stromberg, as well as his henchman Jaws, who has a mouthful of metal teeth. Bond must track down the location of the missing submarine before the warheads are fired.
