The Lake Theatre will show special films that are art, foreign, documentary, specialty or classic movies on the first Tuesday of every month. The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared , will be shown on Tuesday, September 1 at 12:00 and 7:00 p.m. Admission is $6 matinee/senior & $8.50 evening. After living a long and colorful life, Allan Karlsson finds himself stuck in a nursing home. On his 100th birthday, he leaps out a window and begins an unexpected journey.

Dead Man Walking shown at the Lake Theatre
Show starts at 10:00 AM
A special presentation of the film Dead Man Walking will be shown on Wednesday, September 30 at 10:00 AM. Admission is $1 per person. Local film and theatre expert Doug Deuchler will introduce the film and lead a discussion after the screening. The drama will be shown in advance of an appearance by Sister Helen Prejean, a leading advocate for abolition of the death penalty, on October 17, 2015, at St. Catherine of Siena – St. Lucy Parish, 38 N. Austin Blvd, Oak Park.
