“It’s a Wonderful Life” is a portrait of an American community where compassion for others and giving of one’s self are valued. Proceeds from these two presentations are donated to the Sharing Connection Furniture Bank, a resource to provide home furnishings for neighbors in need. Donation is $5.00. Come early for holiday music by our house organist one the Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ. There will be two shows of It’s A Wonderful Life - 12/14 and 12/15 both at 1:30 p.m.
AHFS presents Cutie and Boxer directed by Zachary Heinzerling. This candid New York love story explores the chaotic 40-year marriage of famed boxing painter Ushio Shinohara and his wife, Noriko. Anxious to shed her role as her overbearing husband's assistant, Noriko finds an identity of her own.

Enjoy an afternoon with the young men and women from the U.S. Naval Academy as they present a free concert on Sunday, January 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre. Included in the chorale is 1/c Kendra Smith of Lisle. Kendra is a graduate of the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora and has been singing with the chorale since she joined the Coast Guard Academy in 2010.
