The Class of ’67: Hollywood Changes - Film Series – Camelot (musical) 10/29/2017

The Class of ’67: Hollywood Changes Film Series is hosted by the Lindo Theatre in partnership with the Stephenson County Museum and Highland Community College. It is designed to offer movie-goers the experience of viewing time-honored American Film classics along with the opportunity to discuss various aspects of each film. Admission is $6 per movie.

Camelot (1967):
The story of the marriage of England's King Arthur to Guinevere is played out amid the pagentry of Camelot. The plot of illegitimate Modred to gain the throne and Guinevere's growing attachment to Sir Lancelot, whom she at first abhors, threaten to topple Arthur and destroy his "round table" of knights who would use their might for right.

 

The films in the series have been selected with the assistance of Dr. Ed Finch the Retired Executive Director for the Stephenson County Museum and Alan Wenzel the Retired Speech Communications Instructor for Highland Community College.  They will introduce each movie and lead a discussion afterward. Movie-goers are encouraged to stay after the movie to participate in this exchange.
