What to Know Before You Go

Classic Cinemas Beloit reopened for movies on Wednesday, May 27th.

We understand if you aren’t comfortable coming back quite yet, but if you are ready for a movie outing, please read our health and safety measures below that we have put in place to ensure your moviegoing experience is a fun and safe one.
WHAT WE'RE DOING:We’re continuing to update protocols based on the latest CDC and government recommendations. Here’s what to expect when you visit:

Health & Safety measures

Limited Seating

Auditorium capacity will be limited to 50% based on state and local guidelines.

Distance between Groups

All seats will be reserved. Rows are more than six feet apart, but leave two seats between your party and other guests when reserving your seats. We recommend reserving online prior to arrival.

Increased Service

Gloved and masked staff members will assist guests to eliminate high-touch tasks like self-serve drinks and popcorn topping. New containers will be provided for free refills.

Vigilant Sanitation

Showtimes are staggered with longer intermissions so we can disinfect seats after every showtime. We have increased cleaning procedures and dedicated staff members focused on the task. Hand sanitizer is also available for guests.

Improved Air Quality

The fresh air intake of our HVAC systems have been increased 50% to 100%. We are transitioning from commercial grade air filters that trap 90% of particles up three grades to one that traps over 95% of particles. Our vacuums have always used HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters that trap at least 99.7 percent of microscopic particles.

Employee Screening

All employees must pass a health and temperature screening prior to their shift. They wear masks and gloves throughout their shift.

GUIDELINES FOR GUESTS:

Please be considerate of our employees and other guests.

Yes, employees will be wearing masks and gloves.
It is not required in Beloit, but we, along with state health officials, strongly recommend guests wear masks until they are seated for their movie. If you need to leave your seat, including at the conclusion of the movie, consider putting your mask on before doing so.
All of our staff should be wearing masks, but while we strongly recommend guests wear masks, we are no longer requiring them in Beloit. However, if you are uncomfortable, please let us know. We are happy to help you find a new seat.

Seating is reserved so we can enforce physical distancing, but if someone does sit too close to you, or if you would like to move for any reason, please let us know, and we can change your seat.

We will begin showing new movies as soon as they are available! Currently, new releases are scheduled to resume in July.
