OVERVIEW

Come to Lake Theatre on Saturday, Aug. 30, for the showing of the 1984 movie, “Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes." OPRF Museum and Classic Cinemas are showing the film in celebration of the 150 th birthday of Tarzan creator and former Oak Park resident Edgar Rice. The movie is based on Burroughs’ 1912 novel, “Tarzan of the Apes.” The movie stars Christopher Lambert as Tarzan and Andie MacDowell as Jane.
