Our landmark celebration will feature the 1924 classic Sherlock Jr., accompanied by a live organist.
The event will also feature the premiere of the documentary York: 100 Years of Movie Magic. The film chronicles the theatre's past century and is narrated by Elmhurst residents, business leaders who grew up near the theatre, and current and former employees. Following the screening, attendees are invited to join in a celebratory cake cutting to mark this momentous milestone. Elmhurst Mayor Scott Levin and Classic Cinemas CEO Chris Johnson will be present for ceremonial remarks.
